Our God Saves
Holy Is the Lord
Our God
We Fall Down
Starting the morning off with a declaration saying OUR GOD SAVES just connected my heart with our God who is waiting for us to dive in and enter into a devoted and surrendering time of worship with Him. It’s so easy to sing or say words like “our God saves” and not really mean what we’re saying. But I felt this morning that KVWC truly meant these words. Deep down, no matter where we are, no matter where are hearts are at, or what kind of week we’ve had…there’s one promise that will always stand and that is OUR GOD SAVES.
Dan introduced a song this morning, Our God, and the whole room just filled with words of praise to the Lord. It was a new song to most, but it’s a song that I hope we can bring back and make it our own. The words in the bridge of the song, I pray, will sink into our hearts and the next time we worship together with that song, us, the church, can sing and shout it with passion and mean it from the very bottom of ourselves…”If our God is for us then who could ever stop us. And if our God is with us then who could stand against…”
I pray and dream that we as a community of worshippers, we can enter in and surrender ourselves and truely TRULY worship the God that saves us, that loves us, and that meets us wherever we are at when we walk in those doors. God invaded our hearts. May these songs and the words of these songs stay in your heart this week…”if our God is with us then who could stand against…”
