Yesterday was one of the first times I had led worship in a couple of months. It felt great to be back, and I thoroughly enjoyed the fact that it was just “a regular Sunday in July.” I found that in spite of the fact that many of us (myself included) didn’t have huge expectation for the morning, God really did some cool things, blessed us with some great moments, and made Himself present in a tangible way. The set was a good mix of old and new songs. It was cool to see people really connect to How He Loves. This was the fifth or sixth time our church community has sung this song together, and it felt as though they really grabbed on to, and took ownership of the song. It was powerful.
All in all, it was a great morning at KVWC, and just another reminder to me of how blessed I am to be a part of it.
