Set List:
Beautiful Jesus
Mighty To Save
Our God
Jesus Paid It All
It had been awhile since I had been on stage to lead the whole worship time by myself. So getting ready to lead, at the start, was getting pretty stressful and honestly pretty scary at moments. And that was really bothering my heart. I am stressing and worrying about leading our church in a time of worship to our God. And in those moments of quite a bit of nervousness and anxiety…God truly met me there and brought a HUGE sense of peace about the morning.
Starting of with Beautiful Jesus and Mighty To Save was incredible. Being able to be in front of our church when the church is worshipping is incredibly powerful. I was able to worship while watching hands being raised, eyes closed, singing out to the God that has delivered and saved so many hearts. I loved it. Especially on Mighty To Save. Our churchtook the song at the end and just sang it from the top of their lungs…and being able to hear that…was incredibly emotional and power. Our God is a good God and He is stirring in our hearts. We can’t ignore it. How can we hide it?
It was awesome to have Dylan on drums and my friend from Bethany Bible College, Aaron Cyr on guitar. Being able to worship together with younger musicians who are rising up inspires me so much. God is raising up hearts that are so on fire. I love dreaming and seeing what God is going to do in our hearts from generation to generation.
As this Sunday comes closer…let us not forget what God has done in our lives this week and what He will continue to do in our lives. Let us enter into a worship lifestyle where we are constantly living in complete worship in everything that we do. And then on Sunday it is just a continuing worship of what we have been doing all week. Let this not just be a Sunday morning thing in our hearts…Grace and Peace…
